Step 1 : Installing software(Skip it if u already having it installed)First of all install the soft u wana use to connect to internet using ur cell phones,options are - Nokia PC suite , Widcomm Bluetooth Software , Bluesoleil Blutooth Software

Step 3 : Connecting to networkUsing nokia pc suite : Open Nokia PC suite ,click on connect to internet or one touch access(whichever is given there) ,click on settings in the popped one touch acess window ,choose ur modem ,click on next ,then choose manual settings and define ur access point, (u can either use default configured settings ,but not all apn r given there) , click on next and now connect to the network.
Using Bluetooth Software : First go to settings in ur phone ,then connections ,then gprs ,then access point ,and enter a valid acces point there.
Using Widcomm : Rite click on the the bluetooth icon in the system tray ,click on Quik connect ,then click on Dial up networking ,then click on Find devices or Other devices , it will search for the devices ,choose ur device and click on next(u may need to pair ur device ,if its first time u connecting ur device ,it will ask u to enter a passkey ,enter passkey in both pc and cell phone) and click on next ,in the next window click on finish ,it will then pop up dialing window ,in the dial up number enter *99***1# ,and click on connect.
Using Blusoleil : Open Blusoleil window ,search fro devices ,by clicking on the middle icon in its window , wen ur device is shown there ,double click on it ,it will then show u the available services for ur divice ,click on Dial up networking ,it will then pair ur device asking for a pass kay ,after pairing successflly ,it will show dial up window ,click on connect.
Using Microsoft Bluetooth : Start a new network wizard from control panel or internet option follwing settings shud be used in the wizardConnection type-----modem using dial upName-----anyDial up number-----*99***1#Finish the wizrd and connect.

4) Change Drive Letters In Windows XP

When you add drives to your computer, such as an extra hard drive, a CD drive, or astorage device that corresponds to a drive, Windows automatically assigns letters to thedrives. However, this assignment might not suit your system; for example, you might havemapped a network drive to the same letter that Windows assigns to a new drive. When youwant to change drive letters, follow these steps:
· Right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.·
Under Computer Management, click Disk Management. In the right pane, you'll seeyour drives listed. CD-ROM drives are listed at the bottom of the pane.
· Right-click the drive or device you want to change, and then click Change DriveLetter and Paths.
· Click Change, click Assign the following drive letter, click the drive letter youwant to assign, and then click OK.

SPEED UP UR ACROBAT READER (ALMOST LIKE NOTEPAD)
Do u get irritated when acrobat reader takes 5/10 seconds to load when you want to open a pdf document. There is a way to speed up the loading.

1. Go to the installation folder of acrobat reader(C:\program files\adobe\acrobat\reader\.. whatever)

2. Move all the files and folders from the "plugins" directory to the "Optional" directory. (I repeat.. cut and paste the files NOT copy & paste).

Also make sure that acrobat reader is not open else it will lock the files and not allow you to move the files).

Now your acrobat reader will load very fastand almost as good as notepad..

Remove Stored username and Passwords !
To remove the Stored User Names and Passwords from your system, try this:

Click Start, Run and type Control keymgr.dll
Remove the entries from the list.

First go into gpedit.msc
Next select -> Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Terminal Services/Temporary Folder
Then right click "Do Not Delete Temp Folder Upon Exit"Go to properties and hit disable. Now next time Windows puts a temp file in that folder it will automatically delete it when its done! Note from Forum Admin: Remember, GPEDIT (Group Policy Editor) is only available in XP Pro.

There is this small trick that you can use to find out what the truth is.

Firstly open your yahoo messenger main window and double click on the name of the person whom you want to check.The chat window will open obviously.

Chose a person you want to check .Double click to open the chat window.Now simply invite the person for a voice conference.This is done by clicking on the "conference' button on the top of the chat window.

If the talk button appears and turns green then that person is online.But if you receive the message 'Voice chat could not be started ' then the person is offline.

Note:Some people use softwares like buddy spy to check who is invisible.I DONT RECOMMEND you to use such third party softwares as they can expose your Pc to hackers by sending your personal information and can even steal information from your Pc.So avoid such softwares and instead use the simple tricks given above.

Here are many ways to defeat java-script protected websites. Some are very simplistic, such as hitting

[ctl-alt-del ]when the password box is displayed, to simply turning offjava capability, which will dump you into the default page.You can try manually searching for other directories, by typing the directory name into the url address box of your browser, ie: you want access to http://www.target.com/

Try typing www.target.com/images .(almost ever y web site has an images directory) This will put you into the images directory,and give you a text list of all the images located there. Often, the title of an image will give you a clue to the name of another directory. ie: in www.target.com/images, there is a .gif named gamestitle.gif . There is a good chance then, that there is a 'games' directory on the site,so you would then type in www.target.com/games, and if it isa valid directory, you again get a text listing of all the files available there.

For a more automated approach, use a program like WEB SNAKE from anawave, or Web Wacker. These programs will create a mirror image of an entire web site, showing all director ies,or even mirror a complete server. They are indispensable for locating hidden files and directories.What do you do if you can't get past an opening "PasswordRequired" box? . First do an WHOIS Lookup for the site. In our example, www.target.com . We find it's hosted by www.host.com at 100.100.100. 1.

We then go to 100.100.100.1, and then launch \Web Snake, and mirror the entire server. Set Web Snake to NOT download anything over about 20K. (not many HTML pages are bigger than this) This speeds things up some, and keeps you from getting a lot of files and images you don't care about. This can take a long time, so consider running it right before bed time. Once you have an image of the entire server, you look through the directories listed, and find /target. When we open that directory, we find its contents, and all of its sub-directories listed. Let's say we find /target/games/zip/zipindex.html . This would be the index page that would be displayed had you gone through the password procedure, and allowed it to redirect you here.By simply typing in the url www.target.com/games/zip/zipindex.html you will be onthe index page and ready to follow the links for downloading.


8) How to block a Website using IE
Internet Explorer version 5 and later offer the ability for heighten security and privacy.
You can block a site by following the directions below:
1. Load your Internet explorer
2. Click Tools
3. Click Internet Options
4. Click the Privacy tab
5. Under the Privacy window, Click Sites
6. Type in the site address that you want to Block and Click OK. Remember this technique only blocks on one site at a time.

7) Pick up your mobile and try to access any site. You will get "AccessDenied..."(except for Airtel Live!). IT DOES NOT MATTER.Keep the mobile down.
8 ) On the PC ( or Laptop) open your browser, enter any address ,press ENTER and.......WAIT
9) After a few seconds the page will start to load and you have theWHOLE internet at your disposal.

10) Restrict a User's Logon hours

You can only restrict when a user can log on to the system. On a stand alone computer, there is no way, currently, to force a user to log off when their hours expire.

1) Open Help and Support and type "logon hours" (without the quotes) in the search box

2) Go to Full text matches and click on "Net user". See the examples for setting a user's logon hours. Some examples would be:net user johnsw /time:M-F,08:00-17:00net user johnsw /time:M-F,8am-5pmnet user marysl /time:M,4am-5pm;T,1pm-3pm;W-F,8:00-17:00net user johnsw /time:all (this one means this user can always log on)

3) Open a Command Prompt window.4) Enter the appropriate "net user" command for the user(s) you wish to restrict access for.

11) Using Multi Google Talk Logins
1)Right click on the Google Talk shortcut> Properties>Shorcut tab>target box append the word in quotes"/nomutex" and click ok.

2)Go to Shortcut tab on Google Talk Properties window.and it will appear like this “c:\program files\google\google talk\googletalk.exe” /nomutex

If you are sending google talk from start menu to desktop then you should append "/nomutex" to "/startmenu" without quotes.

1)Right-click on the desktop >New> Shortcut> and paste this code in the text box.
